Birth control pills are also called Contraception. These pills are used for the prevention of unwanted pregnancies. Nowadays lots of women are taking such types of pills because they don’t want to get pregnant.

While women are taking birth control pills then they will face some major problems after some time. Some symptoms are Breast Cancer, Low Sex Drive, Brown Spots on Your Face, Increased Blood Clotting, Increased Risk of Blood Clotting, Heart Attack and Stroke.  Blood clots are highest for those women who are overweight; suffer from headaches or migraines, gall bladder or liver problems, including benign tumors, blood pressure, depression, anxiety and breast tenderness.

Birth control pills leave side effects such as Breast Tenderness, Headaches and Nausea; and they take few months to cure. When a woman starts taking Contraceptives pills, estrogen levels are at an unnatural high throughout the month.  After some time, it stops ovulating when you start taking contraceptives pills. Pregnancy cannot occur in this state. When body starts receiving high estrogen levels as a sign of pregnancy, it stops ovulating, and pregnancy cannot occur.

It’s been found that the effects of continuously raised estrogen levels in the female body are due to consumption of birth control pills and it impact badly side effects.

Side Effects of Female Contraceptives

Inter-menstrual Spotting

Women who take contraceptives pills will experience vaginal bleeding before the due date of periods. Inter-menstrual spotting happens due to the uterus adjusting to having a thinner endometrial lining, or maybe due to the fact that body is adjusting to having different levels of hormones.

Nausea

After taking contraceptive pills then you will notice some common symptoms like persistent or severe nausea after a short periods of time. You can also get cramps, irregular bleeding or spotting between periods.

Breast Tenderness

Contraceptives pills cause breast problems. It can cause lumps in the breasts, persistent pain, tenderness, and severe breast pain. Women should seek medical help in case of such symptoms.

Headaches

Sex hormones impact on cause of headaches and migraine. Migraine is a type of painful headache that can be preceded or accompanied by sensory warning signs such as flashes of light, blind spots, tingling in the arms and legs, nausea, vomiting, and increased sensitivity to light and sound.

Weight Gain

It was found that contraceptives pills affect weight as well. Most women taking contraceptive pills report some fluid retention, especially in the breast and hip areas.

Mood Changes

After using these pills, you will experience depression or other emotional changes.
Anyone who is facing problems like depression should discuss it with their doctors.

Missed Periods

Due to using contraceptive pills, a period may be skipped or missed. It also causes illness, hormonal or thyroid abnormalities. When your periods are missed while a woman is using birth control pills.

Decreased Libido

There are too many factors which is responsible for decrease libido. These pills directly affect sex drive (libido) in people.
